The Production Process
The process of producing a Reel Story and sharing your life history can be an exhilarating experience and an adventurous journey of discovery. It all begins with a free no obligation, pre- production meeting to discuss and better understand what your story is and how best to tell it. At this meeting, one of our production specialists will be evaluating and identifying all media elements that you may have to incorporate into your video. They may include, but not limited to, old and new photographs, old movies and videos, on-site interviews, music, and other footage we may acquire as well as archival footage from historical events. You may want to include certain titles or graphics throughout your video. We throughly go over each and every production element of your story prior to getting started so that videotaping (if any) and editing process goes smoothly.
After the footage and elements are acquired, we assemble your story together. It is at this point that the storytelling process begins to create the story that is uniquely yours — and one that will be watched and remembered for years and years.
We use state of the art High Definition, digital quality recording and editing equipment to create your story. We then provide you the electronic files needed to share your story whether it is with friends and family on DVD, through e-mail or on social media outlets such as FaceBook and YouTube.
